Unclaimed Capital Credit Checks
In November 2017, a general retirement of capital credits was made to members who received service during 1997 and a portion of 1998. Capital credits represent revenues that are retained by the Cooperative for the financing of operations and construction to reduce borrowing and to keep rates low. These credits are returned to you as the financial condition of the Cooperative allows. Unclaimed capital checks are held for four years before the money is escheated to the state. If you see your name listed on the pages in the link below, we are holding a check for you from 2017.
